REAP College Reporting Process

A Comprehensive Guide to Seat Acceptance and Verification

Reporting Overview

The college reporting process in REAP-2026 is divided into two distinct, mandatory phases: Online Reporting (to secure your allotted seat and participate in upward movements) and Physical Verification (to finalize your admission at the allotted institute). Both phases are mandatory to ensure that your admission is confirmed.

Phase 1: Online Reporting

To secure your seat at the allotted institute or to remain eligible for subsequent upward movements, you must complete the online reporting process through the REAP-2026 portal.

Step-by-Step Online Reporting Process

1

View Allotment

Click the "Allotment and reporting" link in your candidate panel on the REAP portal to view your allotted college and seat.

2

Download Letter

Download your provisional seat allotment letter.

3

Initiate Online Reporting

Click the "online reporting" button (active only for allotted candidates).

4

Pay Seat Acceptance Fee

Deposit a ₹ 10,000/- seat acceptance fee online through the portal. You can download the transaction receipt after verification.

5

Review Documents

View the documents you uploaded during registration and make any necessary updates.

6

Upload Mandatory Documents

To complete your online reporting request, you must upload: • Seat Acceptance Fee receipt
• Provisional seat allotment letter
• Signed Document Check List (Annexure-8.1 format available in the REAP information booklet)

7

Click "Submit" to send your online reporting request to the allotted college for verification.

Tracking Your Reporting Status

Once submitted, the allotted institute will verify your documents and update your status in the portal to one of the following:

Pending

Pending Verification

The institute's document verification is still in progress.

Reported

Successfully Reported

Successful reporting. You are considered successfully reported, subject to payment and document verification. This status makes you eligible to apply for Upward Movement.

Conditionally

Conditionally Reported

Your fee is deposited, but document queries or issues remain unresolved. You are still eligible for Upward Movement.

Special

Special Conditionally

Your fee is deposited, but a change in your reservation category (e.g., from reserved to general) or a downward revision in merit excludes you from the current allotment. You will automatically be considered in subsequent rounds with a revised merit rank.

Cancelled

Cancelled

Outright ineligibility as per the booklet; you are disqualified from the REAP-2026 process.

💡 Note: You can use a personalized online reporting chat window in your portal to resolve document queries directly with your allotted college.

⚠️ Rules for Upward Movement Rounds

  • If you apply for subsequent upward rounds, you do not need to pay the ₹ 10,000/- seat acceptance fee again.
  • If you receive an upward seat allotment, your previous seat is automatically cancelled, and you will have no claim over it.
  • You must report online for each new upward allotment, but if the same college is re-allotted to you, you do not need to report again.

Phase 2: Physical Reporting & Document Verification

After the centralized counseling process concludes, you must report in person to your finally allotted institute to complete physical document verification and pay the college fees.

Crucial Admission Rule

If you fail to physically verify your documents in person at the designated college within the scheduled timeline, your admission will be automatically cancelled.
