BTU Bikaner

Bikaner Technical University (BTU) is a state technical university located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, established in 2017 by the Government of Rajasthan. It was created to enhance the quality of technical education in the state, serving as an affiliating university for engineering, management, and computer application colleges in the Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Ajmer divisions. BTU aims to be a center of excellence for research and innovation in technical fields.

For Undergraduate Courses (B.E.)

• Applicants must have completed 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required (40% for reserved category candidates).
• A valid score in JEE (Main) is necessary for admission through REAP counseling.

For Postgraduate Courses (M.E.)

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required (45% for reserved categories).
• A valid score in GATE is required for admission to M.E. programs.

Admissions to B.Tech courses at BTU's University College of Engineering & Technology (UCET) and its affiliated colleges are conducted through the centralized counseling process of REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process). The general process is as follows:

• Step 1: Entrance Exam: Appear for the required entrance exam (e.g., JEE Main, NATA, GATE, CMAT) based on the course you are applying for.
• Step 2: Counseling Registration: Register for the REAP counseling process on its official website.
• Step 3: Application Form: Fill out the application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.
• Step 4: Choice Filling & Locking: Select BTU-affiliated colleges and your preferred branches in the choice filling form and lock your choices.
• Step 5: Seat Allotment: Check the seat allotment result declared by the counseling authority.
• Step 6: Reporting to College: Report to the allotted institute with all original documents for verification and complete the admission formalities.

Candidates must produce the following original documents along with self-attested copies at the time of reporting to the allotted institute:

• Aadhaar Card or valid Photo ID proof.
• 10th Class Marksheet and Certificate (Date of Birth Proof).
• 12th Class Marksheet and Certificate.
• Relevant Entrance Exam Score Card (JEE Main, NATA, GATE, etc.).
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable).
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) issued by competent authority.
• Income Certificate (for TFWS candidates).
• Medical Fitness Certificate.

For B.E. (Engineering) Courses

Admission is primarily based on merit in the following order of priority:

• Priority 1: Rank obtained in JEE (Main) 2026.
• Priority 2: Percentile obtained in the 12th-grade examination.
• Priority 3 (For Lateral Entry): Marks obtained in Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
