Rajasthan Engineering Entrance Exam

Many students search for the Rajasthan Engineering Entrance Exam, historically known as RPET (Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test). However, currently, there is no separate state-level entrance exam for engineering in Rajasthan. The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) organizes REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process). Admissions are strictly based on JEE Main Score or Class 12th Board Percentile. This centralized counselling process covers government-aided and private technical institutions in Rajasthan. Candidates from Rajasthan and other states can apply via REAP counselling.

For BE/ B.Tech Courses

• Applicants must have completed 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Minimum 45% marks in qualifying exam (40% for ST/SC/PWD/OBC/SBC of Rajasthan).
• Final exam appearing candidates are also eligible.

For B.Arch. Courses

• Applicants must have completed or appeared in 12th grade with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• Minimum 45% marks in qualifying exam.
• Valid NATA score required for admission.

Candidates willing to apply for REAP 2026 must follow the steps below to complete the online registration process:

• Step 1: Online Registration: Visit the official REAP website and register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Step 2: Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 590/- via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
• Step 3: Fill Application Form: Log in with your credentials and fill in personal, academic, and contact details accurately.
• Step 4: Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and relevant mark sheets as per the prescribed format.
• Step 5: Choice Filling: Select your preferred colleges and branches. It is advisable to fill in maximum choices to increase the chances of seat allotment.
• Step 6: Lock Choices: Lock your choices before the deadline. If not locked, the system will automatically lock the saved choices.

Candidates must produce the following original documents along with self-attested copies at the time of reporting to the allotted institute:

• Aadhaar Card or valid Photo ID proof.
• 10th Class Marksheet and Certificate (Date of Birth Proof).
• 12th Class Marksheet and Certificate.
• JEE Main 2026 Score Card (if admission via JEE Main).
• Domicile Certificate (for Rajasthan candidates).
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) issued by competent authority.
• Income Certificate (for TFWS candidates).
• Medical Fitness Certificate.

Q: Is there an entrance exam for REAP?
