The REAP 2026 Upward Movement is a facility provided by CEG Rajasthan for candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seat in the initial rounds. It allows candidates to upgrade their seat to a higher preference college or branch based on their merit and vacant seats.
To participate in this process, candidates must have reported to their allotted institute and paid the requisite fee. If a candidate is allotted a new seat during upward movement, their previous seat is automatically cancelled.
This process is strictly based on the choices filled by the candidate during the initial registration. No new choices can be added.

First, you must report to the college allotted to you in the first or second round. Submit your original documents and pay the admission fee. Only reported candidates can apply for upward movement.
Log in to the REAP 2026 candidate portal. Look for the "Apply for Upward Movement" option. Select "Yes" to give your consent for seat upgradation.
The system will check for vacancies in colleges that are higher in your preference list than your current seat. If a seat is available and your merit allows, you will be upgraded.
On the declared date, check the Upward Movement result. If upgraded, download the new allotment letter.
If your college has changed, you must collect your documents from the old college and report to the new one. If only the branch changed within the same college, internal formalities are required.
Not everyone is eligible for the upgrade process. Ensure you meet the following conditions:
Before applying, keep these critical rules in mind:
If you apply for Upward Movement but do not get a higher preference seat due to lack of vacancies or merit:
1. Seat Retention: Your previously allotted seat remains safe. You can continue your studies there.
2. No Extra Action: You do not need to report again if the seat remains unchanged.
3. Internal Sliding: You may still have a chance for internal branch sliding within the same college if applicable.
